Milk Paint Sign

Our Bulbs are blooming! Spring is here! What a beautiful day! I made this sign using Miss Mustard Seeds milk paint and Annie Sloan chalk paint Old White. Also I LOVE THESE STENCILS! And Maison de Stencils sends you an adorable one with your stencil purchase! They sent me "You are my sunshine" :) They fit perfect on any mason jar project!! So thankful for, Mrs. Jones at Me & Mrs. Jones for introducing me to the world of stenciling. Now I can tell all of Arkansas!

DIY Shabby Chic Vase!

Turn Your Pasta Jar Into A Beautiful Vase!

After making spaghetti one night I was admiring the jar of the pasta sauce and, I thought to myself, "I bet this would look awesome with some chalk paint!" So, I went to work!

First, (I cleaned the jar), I painted the entire jar a bright blue  craft paint. Let it dry for about 30 min. Then I came in with the beautiful Old White of Annie Sloan and painted the entire jar. Let it dry. Distressed with sand paper over the gorgeous circles to reveal cute flowers!!! I waxed the jar with clear wax and accented the top with the dark Annie Sloan wax.

Get Your Wreath On! #LOVE

Burlap Valentine's Day Wreath

I cannot believe Valentine's Day is almost here!! SO exciting! I thought it would be exciting to make a Valentine's Day wreath. It was fun! I used burlap ribbon, XO wooden letters that I painted with Annie Sloan Chalk paint and then I added artificial flowers. Very simple. I bought all of the materials at Wal-Mart. It was a super fun and easy project! Happy Valentine's Day!

Valentine's Day Mason Jar!

Valentine's Day!! DIY Mason Jar

I have fallen in love with Annie Sloan Chalk paint!! What great stuff it is! I took a class in Memphis, TN at Me & Mrs. Jones on how to paint with Chalk paint. I decided to branch out of painting furniture and use my new skills on Mason jars for Valentine's Day! I used the colors Old Orchard and Primer Red. I mixed the 2 colors to get the light pink color. Then I distressed with 3m sandpaper and glued 3 glitter red hearts to the jar. SO fun and easy!
